You meet two intoxicated twins who recruit you into a wolf-slaying mission at Desperation Ridge after showing you a dire call to arms.

Note: This quest is inaccessible after Main Story Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier

[1] Walk to the wine stall.

[2] Talk to the twin brothers.
・You find them drinking copious amounts of alcohol
・They show you a letter:

Desperation Ridge Call to Arms
Wolves run rampant across Desperation Ridge, wounding and killing all who pass. The Unbound Carvern now issues a call to arms: let all willing warriors gather to bring down this menace.
Drink this wine, then board the boat at once. Together, we shall enter the forest, slay the wolves, and free the people from harm.
The wolves are fierce and cunning. They prowl by night and vanish by day. Do not cross the ridge alone-form groups and watch each other's backs.
Any hero bold enough to slay the Wolf Lord shall be egenerously rewarded by the Unbound Cavern!

[3] Inquire about the call to arms.

[4] Down the drink in one gulp.

[5] Talk to the twin brothers.

[6] Ascend the mountain to fight the wolves.
・Talk to Yang Xin
・Follow the path

[7] Defeat the Wolf Maiden.
・The Wolf Maiden is very tanky and even with all the deflections you do, her qi goes down slowly
・A long-ranged weapon is recommended since the Wolf Maiden hits hard in close combat
・She has several golden moves, including a jumping attack and a long range attack in which she jumps on the tree, then the mountains, then targets you
・She also has a long ranged golden move when you are sufficiently distanced
・A lot of the battle is patience with deflection and in avoiding her golden attacks
