An Unholy Prophecy Side Story Full Walkthrough and Details | Where Winds Meet

A mysterious painter speaks of the prophecy of the "Killing God".

[1] Talk to the Mysterious Painter.
・He will talk about the God of Killing Prophecy and ask for your help regarding it

[2] Find the entrance on the Martial Hall's western eaves.

[3] Meet the Mysterious Painter in the Martial Hall.

[4] Search for traces of the "God of Killing" hidden in the darkness.
・Use Fire Arrows to make the sparks of the lanterns hanging from the ceiling burn brighter

[5] Talk to the Mysterious Painter.

[6] Return the "God of Killing" to the Martial Temple.
・Stand on the empty stone platform and use the emote "An Unholy Prophecy"

[7] Explore the underground passage.
・Unfortunately, you cannot Celestial Seize the chests from behind the bars
・There is nothing to explore at the second floor for now
・There will be enemies in the hallway so be ready to sneak on them or to fight
・Hit the bell and then use Meridian Touch to unlock the gate
・You will find the Boundary Stone shortly after

[8] Find the way to enter the core Arsenal.
・There are chests that need a bit of climbing to get to. Unfortunately, one of them is hard to obtain since there are guards that can only be defeated using arrows, so you can try and get them later instead
・Investigate the armor with a paper on the table in front of it

[9] Find the Armored Sentinel to open the Arsenal entrance.

Long Weapon
・Go to the hallway behind the armor displays on the left (facing the large statue). There is a hidden enemy on the right in the large that you can sneak on first
・Head downstairs. The hallways have spiked walls, beware.
・After disarming the walls, enemies will appear
・At the end of the hallway, there is a bell puzzle
・Obtain the weapon Wingfall in the next room
・The next room is deadly and full of spikes. You cannot use regular jumping to get through here. There is also a chest on one of the platforms which you can use Celestial Seize to safely get
・When you get to the hallway, you can obtain the weapon Rampage
・The succeeding hallway will be full of spiked walls again with a bell puzzle at the end
・At the left side of the hallway is a chest. Be careful as there are two guards below it
・In the room after the spikes is the weapon Silver Spear of Discipline
・ In the next room, there is a crate, as well as 3 enemies in the balcony leading back to the main room

Short Weapon
・Go to the hallway behind the right side of the armor displays (facing the statue)
・The layout of the rooms are similar to the set of rooms on the left wing
・Instead, you get the weapons Sovereign, Triumph, and Blackcloud Long Sword
・The chest in the circular spiked room is hard to get with Celestial Seize, so instead you have to drop down to obtain it and then use the prompt to jump to another panel
・There is also no extra chest in the 2nd spiked hallway
・Congrats! You can now safely get the chest on one of the upper beams in the room
・You can also now safely climb up so that you end up on top of the large statue up front. You can gain the Mystic Art Roaring Spin by collecting the small box there using Celestial Seize

[10] Continue venturing deeper.
・You will be in, yet again, another circular spiked room. No chests around this time

[11] Obtain the final treasure of the Arsenal.
・You will have to fight Shi Zhen and a few soldiers

[12] Leave through the hidden passage.
・There is a ladder at the back of the room, climb it and get open the chest to the right to get the Secret Passage Key, the Dust Stained Ledger, and the Registry Key
・Go through the passageway at the back and you will find a mine-like tunnel of sorts. Be on the lookout
After reaching the outside, go to the pagoda to meet the Mysterious Painter
