Place a Buddha’s Light Jade on the Buddha’s Light Pagoda to check whether the old claim about Miaoshan appearing at Halo Peak is true. From there, learn more about its secrets.

[1] Place the Buddha's Light Jade atop the Buddha's Light Pagoda.
In order to get Buddha's Light Jade, you must complete the Lost Chapters, Bodhi Sea and Palace of Annals
・It has to be during the Wu hour
・You can use Meteor Strike to get up here faster

[2] Enter the Buddha's Light Pagoda.
・The entrance is at the bottom of the pagoda

[3] Seek the secrets of Buddha's Light Pagoda.
・There are different things you can look at inside the room and they will mostly comment about dharma
・Enable the switch on the right side of the room to continue

[4] Enter the hidden passage beneath the Pagoda.

[5] Explore the space beneath the Pagoda.
・There is a boundary stone in the space you fall onto
・Use Meridian Touch to turn the statue. Turn it clockwise.

[6] Navigate the narrow passage.

[7] Decipher the bronze mirror contraption.
・For the first four statues, you have to turn each of them TWICE in the same direction
・For the fifth and last statue, turn the statue clockwise ONCE

[8] Delve deeper into the cavern.
・Crouch down to enter the passageway
・You will eventually fall due to the ground caving in

[9] Find the path back to the upper levels.
・Examine the cloaked figure in front of a pillar and you will receive an old journal entry
・Enemies will then appear. They are impervious to strikes but can be fought using deflection. If you are having trouble with parrying, you can use the assist mode of the game
・Head towards the rocky path and open the door
・There is a bunch of barrels in the room beyond the door that you can destroy with a light attack. Beyond there is a chest
・In the next room, there will be the deflected enemies. After dealing with them, open the large door

[10] Traverse the mural corridor.
・You are back en route the way before you fell through the floor
・To your right, there is the passageway you were originally on. Jump there to get a chest
・To the right wall of illustrations, you can compare the picture to an [artist manual]
・A cutscene will play as you get nearer to the end of the passageway

[11] Explore the Thousand-Buddha Cavern.
・To your left will be a Hero's Tomb
・You will have to jump a lot to get down safely since you can die otherwise
・Go down the right path, there will be a corridor where you have to crouch at first to enter. The end of the corridor will lead back outside, near a chest
・Be careful on the tightrope! You can fall down if you go the wrong direction but if you have already balanced yourself, you should be able to get to the other side safely as long as you keep going forward
・Scope out where the areas are first so you know where to jump from safely
・When you get down long enough, a short cut scene will play

[12] Proceed swiftly. Escape the collapsing platform.
・Take care to see the cues where you have to jump as a quick action!

[13] Descend to the depths of the cavern.

[14] Open the gate at the cavern's bottom.
・There is a boundary stone at the bottom
・Turn the statue in any of the same direction TWICE

[15] Venture into the deepest reaches of the Buddha Grotto.

[16] Defeat Tian Ying.
・Tian Ying has 3 phases
・In the first phase, he will do a circular attack. Instead of dodging or deflecting the attack, it is best to jump over the circular AoE as it can cause large damage
・In his 2nd phase, he will summon a large Buddha behind him to attack you. It is not safe to get in close contact with him as he can deal large damage
・In the 3rd phase, Tian Ying will summon copies of himself to attack you. They will come at different directions, so even if you try to run away from some of them, the others can attack from the opposite direction

[17] Head towards the underwater cave ahead.

[18] Escape through the underwater cave.

[19] Go to the Floral Expanse Beyond.
