Throne and Tempest I Quest Summary
The wanderer's visit to the Imperial City takes a darker turn. Pose as a Palace Guard, pry into secrets before the hall, and see what trouble lies beneath the grandeur.
In the Imperial Palace, nothing is ever as simple as it looks.
Throne and Tempest I Quest Condition
・Character is at least Level 32.
・Must have completed the "New Arrival in Kaifeng" Main Quest.
Throne and Tempest I Walkthrough
[1] Stroll along South Gate Avenue.
Once all requirements are met, head over to Kaifeng City and look for a group of people at the South Gate Avenue.
[2] Listen to the Crowd.
[3] Ask Locals for Info.
[4] Track Footprints with Wind Sense.
[5] Observe Secretly.
Eavesdrop on the man petting a cat.
[6] Pick Up Dropped Official Seal.
Grab the Seal on the ground and a Middle-aged Man will approach you.
[7] Follow the Middle-aged Man.
Board the carriage and continue the conversation.
[8] Report to the Imperial Service's Imperial Soldiers.
After arriving at the Imperial Service, follow the Quest Marker and find Cheng Shiwen to progress.

 Take a quick detour first and speak with the Wayfarer (Central Bureaus) to unlock the in-game map for Kaifeng Imperial Palace. |
[9] Find another Imperial Service Guard.
Pass through the gate and talk to Zhang Mengbin inspecting a rack of spears.
[10] Gather Info from Idle Guards.
No matter which dialogue option you choose to gain access to the Sealed Treasury, the Idle Guard will knock you out.
[11] Explain to Zhao Guangyi.
[12] Go to the Imperial Service.
After being set free, head straight to listen in to the guard's conversation.
[13] Check Files in Study.
[14] Wait until Zi Hour.
[15] Go on Night Patrol.
Join the other guards by the entrance to start the Night Patrol.
[16] Patrol the Palace.
[17] Continue the Patrol Alone.
[18] Investigate the Letter by the Withered Tree.
[19] Read the Letter.
After checking the letter, return to the Imperial Service and report the findings to the Chief.
[20] Go to the Servants' Quarters.
Travel to the Inner Quarters and explain your reasons for visiting to Xu Qianhui.
[21] Follow Qianhui.
[22] Approach Huizhen.
[23] Dodge Huizhen's Slap.
Win the minigame and dodge her flurry fierce swats. Huizhen will be convinced that the "ghost" has been driven off.
[24] Go to the Haunted Palace Wall.
[25] Use Wind Sense to follow the Tracks.
Follow the tracks and inspect the token from a Palace Guard on the ground.
[26] Investigate at the Training Ground.
After reporting back to Du Youwei, head to the training ground and eavesdrop on three groups of guards.
[27] Speak with Niu Lian.
[28] Catch a Cricket and go to the Fighting Ground.
[29] Win the Cricket Battle.

[30] Follow Liu Liang without being seen.
Perform Cloud Steps to cross from roof to roof and keep following Liu Lang from above.
[31] Use Meridian Touch to strike the Bell.
[32] Confront Liu Liang.
[33] Complete the Sealed Treasury Campaign.
