A series of murders, all involving the Silworm Lady. Uncover the truth of what happened 10 years ago.

[1] Go to the north of Buddha Fort.
You'll see a scholar near a huge bell.
Apparently, he is waiting for someone. 10 years is nothing, so what's one more day?

[2] Talk to the scholar again the next day.
You can either wait or just adjust the time on the settings.

[3] Talk to the scholar inside the huge bell.
Looks like the scholar is trapped and you hear someone singing.
Ten years of raising silkworms, ten years of making silk. Every inch of this cloth was paid for in blood. Even golden shears… can't cut the ties of longing…
After talking with the scholar, you find out that he was trapped there by the Silkworm Lady whom he knows from 10 years ago, and she intends to kill him. He tells you that she believes he stole the Celestial Silk Garment. You are given the choice of either getting him out or leave him trapped.

[4] Deciding to help the scholar, find the Embroidery Ladies.
The scholar tells you that you can trick the Silkworm Lady by letting the seamstress in the nearby village make a Celestial Silk Garment.

[5] Talk to Little Needle.
You meet Little Needle, the best seamstress in Qinghe. She tells you that the Celestial Silk Garment requires the rare celestial silkworm that produces silk after living with the seamstress for over 10 years. But still, she tells you that she can make one. She asks you to get the following dyes:
・Blue dye;
・Red dye; and
・Black dye.

[6] Deliver the dyes to Little Needle and wait for a day for her to finish the garment.

[7] After receiving the garment, return to the scholar.
Upon your return, you see a lady with snakes talking to the scholar. You decide to hide and listen to them. It turns out that the scholar did take the apparently unfinished garment, and the final buyer was Monk Tranquillus.

[8] Check the scholar's condition.
It seems that the scholar is already dead. You pick up a mysterious handkerchief at the scene. There's a red embroidery that says "repay the garment."

[9] Insisting on tagging along, find Monk Tranquillus with Little Needle.
Spar with the monk in the hopes that he'll give you some details. He tells you that he bought the garment and found that it was fake. The seamstress denied it, and so he made her wear the garment and challenged her to a duel. He stabbed her 23 times.

[10] Find the mysterious handkerchief in the area.
When you asked the monk if he had the same handkerchief as the one you found, he tells you he hadn't. You can find the handkerchief near the fence.

[11] Go back to the monk and tell him about the handkerchief.
Convince him to be part of the plan to trap the lady who killed the scholar. You tell him that if he spared her, he might be able to know where the garment is.

[12] Burn the vines at the cave entrance.
If you encountered this before this prompt, you won't be able to burn it. But now you can! You plan to trap the lady inside the cave.

[13] Now that the trap is set, hide and wait.
Once again, you hear the song.
Ten years of raising silkworms, ten years of making silk. Every inch of this cloth was paid for in blood. When anger boils over, souls can shatter with the coming of spring…
You then chase the lady and turns out that she wanted you to get separated with the monk.

[14] Return to the monk.
You find him pierced by several blades. He drops a letter that says the truth can be found at the Northern Bamboo Grove.

[15] Go to the Northern Bamboo Grove.
You find the embroidery pavilion owner and tell him about the killings happening.

[16] Show him the two handkerchiefs.
He then shows you the handkerchief he has. It bears the words, "Debt of Name."

[17] Finding the man suspicious, use the Celestial Seize to find the Boss's Secret Letter.
"…To make amends for my mistake ten years ago, I must offer the garment this time." - A letter to the Aureate Pavilion.

[18] Examine the ruins and plunge on the spot.
You find large barrels of gunpowder.

[19] Next, examine the concealed wall.
You find that they have holes to shoot arrows.

[20] Use Wind Sense to go to the glowing spot and listen to the two suspicious people nearby.
You find out that everything is a trap.

[21] Go back to Little Needle.
You find Little Needle unconscious. He plans to make her the next seamstress to make the Celestial Silk Garment. Just as he thought he has gotten away, a man appears, and he is here to take the scum's life.

[22] A prompt will appear to warn the man.
Already with a heavy heart, you find out that the seamstress was only 24 years old when she died. The scholar stole the silkworm. The owner switched the garment. And the monk killed her for it. The owner sent her to her death. And he never even remembered her name.
Just as the Aureate Pavilion attacks, the lady from before and the man save Little Needle and you.

[23] Thank them.
You find out that they were blinded to be test dummies. The seamstress gave the garment to the two to keep them safe.

[24] End the quest after speaking with Little Needle.
