My dad is better than your dad! Ah, kids... Meddle a little with the kids to find out what's really happening.

[1] Talk to the kids arguing.
Yan A'niu claims that his dad used to fight alongside with the legendary Tian Ying. He said he has proof, but it sounds like he lost it. His dad came in to stop them.

[2] Pick up the charm.
You notice something nearby. It's a Worn Protective Charm with an inscription: "A gift to my friend Datie from Ying." Could it be the proof that Yan A'niu lost?

[3] Give the charm to Yan Datie.
As you give him the charm, you both found a strange letter:

Yan Datie, don't fool me. I cot your boy. Want him back, find Tian Ying!

He then admits that Tian Ying and him grew up together.

[4] Go to the north of Encircling Lake.
In your quest to find Tian Ying, you first proceed to the north of Encircling Lake to find traces of Tian Ying. You find a sword with the name, "Ying" etched into it.

[5] Follow him again to the next area.
You will encounter some bandits at the Fort. Defeat them all.

[6] Hearing a strange noise, you decide to investigate the area.
You will find a sachet. Yan Datie tells you that this sachet belongs to his son.

[7] Follow Yan Datie to the next location.
Along the way, Yan Datie tells you about the hero who saved Tian Ying and him. He also wanted to follow the footsteps of that hero as Tian Ying did. But in the end, he did not.

[8] On your way, you notice small footprints. Follow them.
Just when you thought that Yan A'niu was the one who made up the false kidnapping, he ended up actually being kidnapped!

[9] Save Yan A'niu

[10] Talk to the father and son to end the quest.
Turns out his dad is the hero Yan A'niu needs and Yan Datie is living a good life with his son.
