Underworld Uprising: Part II Side Story Full Walkthrough and Details | Where Winds Meet

It looks like Pip has been missing for several days and all the other Rats are looking for him! Where could he have gone?

Quest Conditions:

[1] Complete Underworld Uprising: Part I.

[2] Let a few days pass until a lot of people show up at Si hour. In my case, it took 5 in-game days.

[3] Talk to Embroidered Rat to trigger the quest. She thinks you're responsible for the missing Pip.

[1] Talk to the other Rats near the Rat Den entrance:
・Barn Rat;
・Burrowing Rat; and
・Rafter Rat.

[2] Go inside the Rat Den to check the situation.
You will be given a couple of dialogue options.

According to Rafter Rat, Pip Rat has already disappeared for—
・Three or four days*
・10 to 15 days
・Three or four years

Then Burrowing Rat says he isn't—
・Around Mercyheart Town
・Around the Rat Den*
・Around the Sundara Land

And Barn Rat says he got obsessed with—
・Gathering herbs
・Chopping wood
・Crafting Medicine*

And Embroidered Rat said that, before he vanished, he was…
・With his parents
・Alone
・With me*

So the last one to see Pip Rat was…
・Me?*
・Embroidered Rat
・Rafter Rat

*Chosen dialogue options will result to the dialogue:

"Three or four days ago I was helping Pip brew medicine! He said he was going to give it to his dad, and then he just… huh? What's that smell?"

[3] Find the source of the strange scent.

[4] Use Wind Sense to follow the scent.

[5] Investigate the object on the ground.
Following the scent, you found an object on the ground. Watch out because there might be enemies around this area.
It turns out it was Pip Rat's Medicine Bag.

This medicine bag, smeared with dirt, still bears the unmistakable scent of the Dagger General.
Isn't this the medicine you once entrusted to Pip? How did it end up here?

[6] Eavesdrop on the conversation inside the door.

[7] Defeat the Buddha Flower Follower.

[8] Talk to the other Buddha Flower Follower.
You ask him where Pip is.

[9] Follow him.
He leads you to the Buddha Flower Emissary. And you hear the Emissary say, "Addicted to poison, stuck in the mud. For a single dose of that stuff, a man'll sell out his wife and kids without blinking." This follower has traded his son.

[10] Rescue Pip Rat.

[11] Talk to Pip Rat.
He falls to the ground.

Rest in Peace, little one. You did good.

[12] Talk to Rafter Rat.
Rafter Rat and Burrowing Rat tells you that the envoy left. They only need to take care of the flower gatherers. And then, hopefully, Mercyheart Town will be free from those flowers. Embroidered Rat will fulfill what we want… She says,

Our little brother said he wanted to see Dad take the medicine. Now that he's gone, I'll take his place. I'll make sure you drink every last drop.

Dagger Generals are rare and powerful. Add in the Datura pollen, and it's a recipe to bring someone back from the dead.
