Echoes of Old Battles Side Story Full Walkthrough and Details | Where Winds Meet

There are rumours of a hidden treasure from the Northern Vow people. After fighting off Tiger Fort people, you find items leading you to an underground cave...maybe it's not just a rumour after all.

[1] Investigate the eavesdropper by the gate.
・Tiger Fort have captured someone of Northern Vow descent for the supposed treasure in this area

[2] Open the gate and enter the Northern Vow Ruins

[3] Eavesdrop on the gatekeepers' conversation.

[4] Eliminate the gatekeepers.
・Target the powder kegs to inflict heavy damage on nearby enemies

[5] Search the Northern Vow Ruins for the hidden treasure.
・There are machines that may ask you to light them up. DO NOT light them. They will make things more complicated in the puzzle solving later
・There a bunch of chests scattered around the fort if you wanna take them now instead of later

[6] Defeat the enemy leader (Zhang Bao) on the training ground.
・If you finished Echoes in the Shrine already, this mini boss is so much easier. No worries.

[7] Search the training ground for the treasure map hidden by Zhang Bao.

[8] Search for the treasure map clue and light the correct flame contraption

[9] Use Mighty Drop to activate the training ground contraption.

[10] Enter the underground from the contraption.

[11] Venture forward.

[12] Inspect the corpse with an odd pose
・It seems facing north with their hand on their heart is the pose of the Northern Vow

[13] Find the Northern Vow's secret chamber.
・Beware for traps

[14] Examine the Northern Vow statue and strike the corresponding Pose.
・Use the "Yanyun Pose"

[15] Solve the puzzle on the wall.
・What you are meant to do here is push back the extra blocks sticking out.
・Facing the statue who has its back on you, on the left side, the furthest part of the wall, push back the block on the right
・Facing the statue's back, on the right side, for both pairs of blocks, push the block on the left

[16] Open the stone gate and continue forward.

[17] Unclog the waterwheel and open the gate
・Go through the waterfall
・Activate the contraption

[18] Open the final stone gate

[19] Search for the "treasure" hidden by the border guards of the Northern Vow.
・There's a chest with a Mystic Art here!

[20] Examine the writings on the wall
