[1] Approach the Injured Merchant

・Fast travel to Sorrowfield Village; you will find the injured man nearby.

・Use Wind Sense to identify the issue, and then start the treatment.

[2] Explore the Deserted Village and Examine the Traces

・Despite the Merchant's warnings, head to the Village and inspect the traces.

[3] Trace where the Black Shadow vanishes

[4] Pursue the Black Shadow and Investigate the Sorrowfield Village

[5] The Black Shadow appears to be moving ahead. Continue to Follow it.

・Climb onto the roof to reach the other side.

[6] Repel the Vicious Hounds blocking your way

・You will be greeted by several enemies; defeat them to continue ahead.

・Zheng Zongxian, the Village Chief, will appear after the fight.

[7] As the Dark Shadow emerges, go start a Conversation

・Remind Zheng Zongxian about the plague's return. While you can repeat this dialogue twice to try and convince him to allow treatment, he will not agree to your request.

[8] Leave the Shrine for the time being

[9] Echoes of Conversation rise from the Shrine

・Return to the Shrine and eavesdrop on their conversation.

[10] Explore under the cover of Night

[11] Climb onto the Rooftops and Eavesdrop on the Conversation inside at Night

[12] Steal the Key without being Caught

・Silently follow Zheng Zongxian and use Celestial Seize Mystic Skill to steal the Ancestral Hall Key.

[13] With the Key in Hand, unlock the Inner Gate of the Shrine

[14] Search for the Suspicious Areas within the Shrine

・Inspect the Mycelium-Wrapped Tablet. While investigating, you'll lose consciousness.

[15] Leave the Shrine and Explore the Surroundings

・As you head out, you will notice you have arrived at the Kaifeng - Zheng Manor.

[16] Rescue the Young Boy who is Tied Up

・Untie Young Shen Yilun and follow him outside.

[17] Help him Up

・After helping the Young Shen Yilun who tripped, he'll request that you rescue A'zheng and A'ruan.

[18] Follow the Boy and Survey the Area

・Examine the Steet and Firelight to see the Main Residence.

[19] Head to the Town Academy

[20] Defeat He Yuezhi and his Henchmen

・You can eliminate the henchmen first before focusing on battling their Boss.

[21] Go to Zheng's Main Residence

[22] Enter the Inner Courtyard of the Main Residence

[23] Eliminate Shen Yiren's Henchmen

[24] Defeat the Bandit Leader - Shen Yiren

[25] Check on the Distressed Young Zheng E

・Try to calm A'zheng and rescue him. Before you can convince him to escape, you will experience another headache and pass out.

[26] Ask the Tomb Keeper about the Incident

・You will discover that your dream was the Incident that occurred twelve years ago. Zheng Wenhuan will then show you the aftermath as the conclusion to this Lost Chapter Quest.
