A few mischievous children stand by the window of a house in Blissful Retreat's Flower Expanse and teases Lady Ugly for her appearance.

[1] Eavesdrop on their conversation to trigger an Encounter

・Listen to the group of children teasing the Lady inside to start this Quest.

[2] Scold the Kids

[3] Comfort Lady Ugly

・Head inside the house and speak with Lady Ugly.

[4] Walk Among the Flower Expanse with Lady Ugly

・ Get some fresh air with Lady Ugly and listen to her stories while walking.

[5] Discuss whether the Flower is Beautiful with Lady Ugly

[6] Investigate Lady Ugly's Room

・Return to the house and grab the A Letter from Water Lady on the table. There's a Riddle written on it:

The most beautiful thing in the mortal realm is a flower that is not a flower.
With a transcendental color and an agile body.
A golden blade and iron wings, your shape is formed.
Pick the flower, and I shall appear.
- Handwritten by the Water Lady

[7] Talk to the Kids

・While trying to solve the riddle, you will hear the kids outside. Teach them a lesson, then ask for their help in catching a bug.

[8] Find Mutant Golden-Armed Mantis

・Follow the Marked Locations to catch three Mutant Golden-Armed Mantises. One of the kids will be nearby each spot.

・Observe the insect first, then follow it and wait for it to land on the ground to capture it.

[9] Bring the Golden-Armed Mantises to Lady Ugly

・Give the insects you caught to Lady Ugly.

[10] Taste Flower Cakes

・As thanks, Lady Ugly gives you and the kids Flower Cakes. Head inside to taste them.

[11] Use Wind Sense to Survey Surroundings

・Investigate the footprints outside the house; they will lead you to Evercare Clinic.

[12] Investigate the Clinic's Backyard

・Interact with the Alchemical Furnace and Medical Manual.

[13] Use Wind Sense Again to Investigate Surroundings

・Investigate another set of footprints that leads to the Waterfall.

[14] Enter the Waterfall

・Burn the vines using Fire Arrows and enter the Waterfall to find Lady Ugly and the Kids.

[15] Speak with Lady Ugly

[16] Talk to Yao Yaoyao

[17] Visit the Kids

・Go and see if Lucky, Huan Lang, and Ji'er are alright.

[18] Go to Lady Ugly's Grave

・Head back to Flower Expanse and grab the Disguise Balm next to the Grave.

[19] Observe the Tombstone

・Pay respects at the Grave before leaving.

[20] Make a Choice

・Decide if you want to use the Disguise Balm to help the three children.

・When ready, interact with the Grave again to make your choice.

Note: You can choose any option; you will still get the same rewards.
