The Cat's Paw Quest Summary
You find Feng Sandao peeking through the gap of the Old Village Ruins. He tells you about the ghostly happenings inside. He then lost the sachet that his wife gave him. Time for the wanderer to help!
The Cat's Paw Walkthrough
[1] Talk to Feng Sandao who is peeking through the gap of the Old Village Ruins.
He tells you that he was curious about the sounds of about a hundred soldiers inside the ruins despite it being empty. Even worse, he lost the sachet that his wife gave him.
[2] Go inside the Old Village Ruins.
Optional: Clear the outpost if you haven't yet.
[3] Go to the southeast building of the Outpost to find a set of footprints.
[4] Enter the building to find the hidden entrance.
[5] Go inside and retrieve the sachet.
Optional: Go deeper within to eavesdrop on the soldiers. There is also a chest inside. If you go even further, you can explore the underground of the Martial Temple.
[6] Go back to Feng Sandao and give the sachet.
You notice how suspicious he is.
[7] Follow him without being seen.
He will lead you to a mysterious man. There, you will find out that he is a covert operative of the Imperial Service.
