Zheng E Walkthrough | Where Winds Meet

A fighter with dominion over frost and deadly shards of ice. Encountered during the Ever-Normal Granary questline.

Zheng E is a fairly straightforward boss with a few tricks up his sleeves that can still make him dangerous. He commands ice and snow, creating cold waves with his fan that fly toward you. The slicing wind projectiles are fast, but the flying ice shards are slow and easy to anticipate for a dodge or parry. Focus on parrying and dodging these projectiles, and attack only when an opening appears.
Some of his attacks have noticeable windups or delays, so study his patterns and don’t be afraid of getting hit once or twice while learning. His fan swipes can combo up to five times, following a rhythm of 1–2, pause, 1–2, pause, 1. Meridian Touch is especially useful for stopping his red attacks, creating a clear opportunity to counterattack.
