Sand blinds the eye and muffles all sound. In the silent wood of sunken ships, a figure wanders. He's a mad old man, seemingly outside of time, lost in a sea of sand. Where is he headed? What news does he bring?
Desert Without Sails Walkthrough
[1] Investigate the Area.
After the boat ride during "In the Quiet of Night" Lost Chapter, players arrive at Hexi.
The path is blocked, so the wanderer must find a way to cross.
[2] Use Cosmic Reversal.
Hold Tai Chi on the right to reverse the target object.
[3] Observe the Surroundings.
Continue forward until a camp comes into view.
[4] Pick up the Map.
Approach the camp to find a torn map.
[5] Keep exploring.
Advance further while listening to the sand-like spirits.
Activate the Celestial Spring Station Boundary Stone and head straight to reach a graveyard of sunken ships.
[6] Defeat the Evil Bird, Utuk Raptor.
[7] Restore the Flickering Fragments.
[8] Hand over the Map.
Give the torn map to comfort the Old Man.
[9] Follow the Old Man.
Walk with the Old Man to cross the sand sea.
[10] Look for Traces.
Sand blinds the eyes, track down the Old Man's footprints using Wind Sense.
Defeat more enemy birds and restore the nearby Flickering Fragments.
[11] Travel with the Old Man again.
[12] Investigate the Stranded Giant Boat.
Restore the Flickering Fragments at the boat to initiate a battle against Utuk Raptors and an Utuk Vanguard.
[13] Take over the Drumming.
The Old Man is exhausted, take over and strike the Drum.
[14] Pick up the Ownerless Luggage.
End the Quest and claim all rewards by grabbing the Luggage on the sand.
