・He speaks of this lord Condor who is half-bird, half-machine
・He keeps being ribbed by a young man called Yang Cun

[2] Chat with Yang Cun.
・Agree to go search with Yang Cun

[3] Head to Encircling Lake.

[4] Talk to Yang Cun.
・He talks to the legend of Lord Condor and the Encircling Lake
・He wants to see if there's evidence of a battle being done in the area

[5] Investigate the surroundings.
- Lakebed
- Grass
- Foot of the mountain

[6] Share clues with Yang Cun.
・Yang Cun is by the stone arch, behind where you met him by then lake

[7] Go to Finesteed Hamlet.

[8] Join Yang Cun's conversation.

[9] Use Gift of Gab to expose flaws in Mu Jiren's words.
・You don't need to have a high level in the Scholar profession to win this. Just use the card/s given to you and you will automatically win in the end

[10] Meet Yang Cun at Sage's Knoll.

[11] Talk to Yang Cun.
・Yang Cun reveals that he grew up on Lord Condor stories. He had believed them fervorously and had called on Lord Condor to help him when he was being bullied. He became a cynic after seeing that Lord Condor never came to his rescue

[12] Ascend to the mountain peak.
・Approach the chains of the metallic structure

[13] Talk to Yang Cun.

[14] Descend to find Yang Cun.
・Jump to the jutted out rocky area. Unless you can safely land, do not just jump off the top of the structure

[15] Ask about Yang Cun's injuries.
・It seems Lord Condor saved him...!

[16] Visit Yang Cun again in a few days.
・Advancing by one day does the trick

[17] Check on Yang Cun's condition.

[18] Listen in on their conversation.
