As Ruby darts ahead, you follow at a slower pace. A stranger by the roadside catches your attention. Approach him and see what he's up to.

[1] Approach the Stranger

・Talk to the man you encountered while trying to catch up with Ruby.

Optional: While heading down the hill, activate the Northern Bamboo Grove Boundary Stone and defeat some nearby Greenwood enemies for a Chest.

[2] Respond to the Stranger

・Finding Wayfarers near Campfires will unlock parts of the Map! You'll also be introduced on how to check your Area Exploration Progress.

・The Wayfarer will offer you another extraordinary item. You can pay 50 Echo Jade for it or haggle.

Tip: Haggle twice to get the Wulin Journal for free! Although, he will complain that you are a bit stingy.

[3] Search for the Bear Nearby

・Follow the marked location to find the Bear struggling to reach the honey in the tree.

・Surprisingly, the Bear knows Martial Arts! Start the Skill Theft mini-game and comprehend the Golden Rings at the right timing to succeed!

・You've learned the Tai Chi Mystic Skill!

[4] Use Tai Chi to defeat the Bear

・Finish this Quest by defeating the Giant Bear! You can loot it for resources afterward.
