Sunken City Lake Side Story Full Walkthrough and Details | Where Winds Meet

At the end of Qinchuan path is the Sunken City Lake. Find out the story of Fang Bai and Lan Ao and how the city sank.

Complete Main Story Ch. 3 Farewell at Qinchuan AND the Jianghu Legacy To Friends, to the End.

[1] Pick up the Dreamtouch Brush.

[2] Dive into the Sunken City lake and retrieve the item.

[3] Go to the Peachgrove Pass boundary stone.

This is where you will start the cycle to fully witness what happened on this day.

[1] Enter Peachgrove Pass where the arena is and eavesdrop on the two.

[2] Sit down beside Xiaowu and talk to him.

[3] Pick up the cup lid, and then talk to the Overseer, Lan Shouchi.

Give the cup lid to Lan Shouchi.

[4] Challenge Zhu Youli.

[5] After defeating Zhu Youli and somehow becoming Xiaowu's friend, go to the Oversight Office.

As the conversation is going, someone interrupts.

[6] Inspect the object and trace the sound.

The vibrating sound icons direct you to three different locations. You do not really need to find them because Fang Bai will show up.

[7] Follow Fang Bai and read the letter on the ground.

[8] Go to Peach Grove and talk to Xiaowu.

Follow Xiaowu and talk to him again once you arrive. You can leap or just run after him. After arriving, check the area.

・Go near the Xiaopan, Lan Ao, and Min Tiandi.
・Listen to the Zhou Mangyuan and Granny Qinye.
・Listen to the monks.

[9] Sit beside Xiaowu.

A newcomer arrives.

[10] Challenge the Thief Monkey.

You can't defeat him.

[11] Check on Xiaopan.

After checking her, go near Min Tiandi with the monks, and then go back to crowd.

[12] Pick up the item on the ground.

You'll pick up a Jade Pendant, which is part of the anecdote/experience: Jade Emblem of Inkbound Order.

[13] Go back to the Inspector's Office.

Listen to everyone. After listening to them, Fang Bai will show up. Investigate the situation by getting near Fang Bai.

[14] Try entering the inner hall.

You cannot actually enter because you do not have a token from any of the princes. Instead, take your seat. Use Wind Sense to gather clues while you wait for the banquet to end.

[15] Check what happened after the banquet.

It seems like a lot of people died inside. Climb the wall and wait. After the scene, the city will sink.

[16] Investigate the banquet site.

Check the herb sachet, which is part of the anecdote/experience: Poison of the Sleeping Puppets. This is where you will unlock the first antique, Neutralizing Herb.

[1] Go back to Peachgrove Pass and find a place to gather your thoughts.

You remember that you picked up a Jade Pendant, so you search for the owner.

[2] Go back to the Inspector's Office.

You find Xiaopan looking at the ants. Help her find food for the ants. Return the pendant to Xiaopan. After returning the pendant, Lan Ao will come looking for Xiaopan. Hide and listen to their conversation.

[3] Investigate the area by examining the text on the ground and the moss.

[4] Go to the Peach Grove.

Investigate the area. You lose consciousness and wake up at a different place.

[5] Investigate the area.

Check the medicine jar, marriage proposal, and note. After investigating, you'll eventually wake up with Xiaopan on your side. She gives you Prince Jin's Token.

[6] Go to the banquet and investigate what happened.

Investigate Fang Bai and the imposter Fang Bai's body. You investigate the scene a second time, examining Fang Bai's body, the shattered jade box, and everyone's reaction. Upon examining Fang Bai's body, you will get the Disciple Pendant which is the second antique.

[7] Plunged underwater, investigate the area.

Examining the shoe gives you an anecdote/experience: Shoemaking Traditions. This unlocks the third antique, Loose Cloth. This ends Part 2.

[1] Go back to the city gates for the third time.

On your way, use Wind Sense to track the familiar scent. It will lead you to Lan Ao. Following her will lead you to a room. Investigate this area carefully.

[2] After investigating the items, check the window.

You observe that something was tossed out. Follow the quest marker. It will lead you to a broken sword and crumpled paper at the bottom of the cliff. This unlocks the Legendary Blade anecdote/experience and the Sword Autumn as the fourth antique.

[3] Go to the Peach Grove and investigate the trap again.

You finally realize that Fang Bai and Lan Ao were lovers. This unlocks the anecdote/experience: Bound in Journey and Return.

[4] Head to the warehouse.

Check the dropped letter and the sweat-stained note.

[5] Listen to Fang Bai and read his final letter.

After reading Fang Bai's final letter, pick the New Blue Shoes on the table. This is the final antique. It also unlocks the anecdote/experience, The Hidden Bond. After this, push open the door to encounter a cutscene. This fully unlocks the Loose Cloth antique.

[6] Go to the suspension bridge platform and lower the drawbridge.

You will enter a cutscene.

[7] Challenge the Moonlight Master.

[8] Go to the main gate.

You will then arrive at the Dream-Bearing Pillow. Pick up the brush there. After talking to the Old Painter, touch and then take down the scroll. And then finally you wake up from the dream.
