Land of Gold Quest Summary
A land of gold? Is this time for treasure hunting? Learn about the Merchant of Gold, Kang Zhenzhu, in this encounter.
Land of Gold Walkthrough
[1] Talk to Granny Yang in Poplar Bazaar.
Current Time: You hour.
[2] Fetch water in the well.
[3] Find Granny Yang.
Follow the quest marker.
[4] Heal Granny Yang's Summerheat Injury.
[5] Follow Granny Yang.
[6] Approach the crowd ahead.
[7] Win a the Gift of Gab against Shi Hedan.

[9] As mentioned by Kang Mingluo, look for the ledger.
Follow the quest marker.
In the direction where Wei Xuan is facing, you'll see a hole. Go inside to find the Poplar Leaf Ledger.
Along the way, you can also pick up Kang's Journal I on top of the crate where Wei Xuan is facing.
[10] Inform them about the ledger's content.
[11] Look for the traces.
There are four (4) traces already marked:
・Eight-Petal Silver Cup
・Well with an inscription: Built by Kang of Jianzhong
・Merchant's Passage
・Kang Journal II
[12] Deliver the items to Kang Mingluo.
Kang Mingluo has Kang Zhenzhu's third journal (Kang's Journal III).
[13] Talk to Kang Mingluo.
[14] Find the highest place.
Follow the quest marker to see how you can get up the tree. At the top, you will see the Prince of Qin's Triumph Dance Notation.
[15] Examine the Dance Notation.
Do NOT go down after this. There will be a box that will appear on the left while facing the dance notation.
[16] Examine the Old Worn-Out Box.
After opening the box, Kang's Journal IV will appear.
[17] Pick up the journal.
[18] Tell everyone the whole story.
[19] Go to the quest marker and observe the wells.
[20] Inform everyone what you observed.
[21] Follow Granny Yang.
You don't need to climb. The location is just on the ground. You will then see Kang's Journal V.
[22] Pick up the journal.
[23] Unclog the dry well.
