You find laborers carrying a merit stele. While with them, someone damaged the stele. Repair the stele and find out the truth about them.

Xu Hour during Spring

[1] Talk to the workers.

[2] Help them straighten the cart.

It looks like someone removed the inscriptions on the merit stele for the Prince of Liang.

[3] Investigate the area.

You find a knife with the carved words "Hold True." The culprit already left, and the laborers have no choice but to ask you if you can find Master Shi to recut the inscription.

[4] Find Master Shi at Lion Barrow.

Upon arriving, Master Shi is not there. Check the campfire. It seems like you just missed him, and he left not too long ago. And then, you find Master Shi on the ground.

[5] Use your healing ability to help Master Shi.

[6] Talk to him and help Master Shi fix the stele.

Grind the stones and deliver the powder to Master Shi. And then, restore three more steles. For the last stele, the fourth, Master Shi tells you what is written:

Yield or stand firm as the moment demands.
Round or square, let them meet.
Hide the edge, keep the truth.
The craftsman's way has no end.

[7] Go back to the laborers to repair their stele.

After repairing, a mysterious attacker suddenly appears!

[8] Defeat the attacker and talk to him.

You learn that his name is Wang Shouzhen and he is one of the stonemasons punished by the Prince of Liang. You also tell him the truth about Master Shi.

[9] Pick up the carving knife to end the quest.
