You find Suxin feeding a dog. She tells you that she is scared to patrol at night and so, she wants the dog to protect her.

[1] Talk to Suxin, the palace maid.

She tells you about the "bane cat" that haunts the rear garden at night.

[2] Wait or adjust the time at Zi hour and keep watch with Suxin.

Strange things keep happening as you patrol, including the crows and the writing on the wall.

[3] Hearing a woman's voice, approach the rockery.

Before you can even approach the lady, she disappears.

[4] Fetch water from the well.

Suxin starts screaming and tells you there is something in the well.

[5] Check the well.

You find Suxin's "shadow," and you get to see a glimpse of the past.

[6] Defeat the ghost and lay "Suxin" to rest.

[7] Wait or adjust the time to Wu hour the next day.

[8] Talk to Shuhua.

You learn more about the past from Shuhua. In this walkthrough, we chose to "pour the Spring Wine to honor the fallen."
