Black Iron Palace Walkthrough
[1] Prepare
It goes without saying that this is a post-game boss fight, so naturally it is going to be difficult. Even the game's own description says you will need keystones before taking this quest. So before you go in, be sure you have everything you need.
Weapons and Armor
Aside from your level, your equipment is the first thing you should look at before tackling this quest. It is always good to have the best weapons to take with you. We even have an article that lists the best weapons to use if you need a look!

Your Partner
It is dangerous to go alone, take your partner! The game has many partners for you to team up with to tackle this boss, but there are some who are better than others.
Iori is an obvious first choice. She possesses the very rare ability of—gasp healing you! And her offensive partner skill also scales damage by how much health you have. She is also your best friend since the beginning, so why would you not take her?

If you are looking for a balance between offense and defense, taking Klein is a wise decision too. Klein's passive partner skill can grant invincibility at low health while also increasing damage and defense. His offensive skill is very strong too, but comes with a downside of reducing DEF for a while.

But a good offense is a good defense too, and no one is better at offense than the Black Swordsman himself, Kirito. He offers more damage output than everyone else, having two offensive partner skills but not many defensive capabilities. His first skill even recovers SP for you, and his second skill has the best DPS output in the game.

All of them offer their own strengths and weaknesses, but no matter who you chose, it is always important to remember that your partner's equipment can be changed. They are not much good to you without good gear, so be sure to equip them with the best before fighting.
Keystones
The game recommends that you equip keystones before going in. Keystones grant unique kinds of buffs to you. They can be found as rewards in side quests that are available in the postgame. Clear them and collect the Keystones.
When you have everything prepared, open the Main Terminal and begin the quest.

[2] Meet the Tezca Death Wielder
At the starting area, head east to the Restricted Area. Climb the path up.
At the end of the path is a black door. If you are playing in Death Mode, this is your last chance to turn back. But if you are absolutely ready, open the door to the games real final boss.
[3] Defeat the Tezca Death Wielder
Yeah, this thing really is post-game boss material. Multi-phase uses all the game's weapon types and stands at a whopping Level 200—so he is definitely a worthy opponent. Still, defeat him to protect all of Aincrad!
