How to Unlock Friendship

This unlocks immediately after completing Keepsake, Asuna's previous quest.

Friendship Walkthrough
[1] Talk to Asuna.
Speak with Asuna, and she'll ask if you can help her gather materials once again.
[2] Access the Main Terminal and Start the Quest.
[3] Search for the Monster with the Materials You Need.
Asuna fills you in on the details, eager to try out her newly upgraded weapon as the two of you head out to explore.
Head to the Magical Seal marked on your map to continue.
[4] Defeat the Fanged Mountain Spirit.
Battle the Fanged Mountain Spirit! Watch out for its heavy stomps when attacking in close range.
[5] Continue Searching for the Monster.
Head north for the next objective.
[6] Defeat the Thorncrown Mountain Spirit.
Despite its large size, the Thorncrown Mountain Spirit can lunge at you. Be careful of this attack while trying to defeat it!
[7] Obtain the Immaculate Weapon Fragment.
Once the battle is over, loot the material on the ground.
Before heading back to town, Asuna opens up about a painful memory, a time from her past when she wasn't strong enough to help someone she cared about. This marks the end of the Quest.
