How to Beat Troll Ark Shaman Guide
[1] Three Times the Trouble.
The fight with the Troll Ark Shaman is divided into three phases, each featuring a different gimmick. Understanding these will make the encounter much more manageable.
| Phase | Description |

| 1 |  During the beginning of the phase, it will summon several smaller enemies . While dealing with reinforcements, watch out for its overhead slams, thrusts, and occasional whirling staff attacks.  When you see it grip the staff with both hands, back away immediately. It will create a cyclone of purple energy around itself with massive AoE. |
| 2 |  In the second phase, the Troll Ark Shaman creates clones of itself to assist in battle. |
| 3 |  After losing its leg in the final phase, the boss crawls on the ground while swinging its staff wildly. Keep your distance. |
[2] The Shaman's True Threat Lies in its Magic.
The Troll Ark Shaman uses lingering toxic clouds to inflict different status effects. During the first phase, it can only create yellow paralytic clouds. Avoid clashing in these zones to prevent status build up.
The threat increases in phase two, as it begins to generate fatal miasma that inflict Instant Death instead. These are formed whenever it uses the Whirling Staff attack.
[3] The Shaman Has One Last Trick Up Its...Stump?
Losing a leg clearly isn't enough to stop the Troll Ark Shaman. It channels energy through its stump, firing a devastating purple energy beam, because apparently that was always an option. Roll through the attack and move behind the boss to avoid taking damage.
