How to Beat Raging Boar Guide
[1] It Calls Upon the Boar Brigade.
Deal with the smaller boars first to avoid getting overwhelmed by the enemy. Toggle between Switch and Free Mode to let your partner decide which enemies to target first! Let your partner take the aggro while you attack it from behind.
[2] Don't Judge by the Size, It's Pretty Nimble.
Like the other boar bosses, the Raging Boar primarily relies on charges, swings, and thrusts. Due to its large size, it can easily close the gap in one or two moves, so maintaining distance is the key to beating it.
[3] Most of Its Moves are Unblockable and Completely Deplete Your Stamina Bar.
Choose to dodge most of its attacks. Attempting to block will leave you staggered and vulnerable. Properly timed rolls and sufficient healing are key to survival.
You can still parry attacks. But be warned, timing may be tricky and some moves eat your entire stamina bar upon doing so.
[4] The Fight has Three Combat Stages.
The Raging Boar's armored faceplate gets visibly more broken at each stage of the fight.
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 | The faceplate is fully intact. The boss uses its three-combo thrust and charge attacks during this stage. |
| 2 | The faceplate is fractured and has visible cracks. It adds a large-AoE overhead slam and U-turn swing attack to its arsenal. |
| 3 | Its armored faceplate is fully shattered, revealing its forehead. It adds a two-combo snout swing then overhead pound to its moveset. |
