Agil Character Profile and Voice Actors
A two handed axe man known for being both calm and reliable, he crosses paths with your party during a raid, offering his strength and steady presence when the group needs it most. Beyond his skill in battle, he's also shown to be quite particular about his cooking, hinting at a meticulous, detail oriented side to his personality that carries over from the battlefield into his everyday habits.

Meeting Agil
The Protagonist's party officially meets Agil on the 2nd floor of Aincrad while they're in the middle of searching for Kirito, hoping to track him down in search of information about the strange quest. During this encounter, Agil informs the party that Kirito has already left the area, headed out toward the West Plains of Urbus, giving the group a lead to follow as they continue their search.
Unlocking Agil as a Companion / Party Member
For Agil to become available as a companion/party member, the Protagonist must first complete the main quest The Black Swordsman II, which serves as the prerequisite for unlocking his personal side quests. Once that's done, the Protagonist can begin working through Agil's questline, which consists of three parts:
- Worries
- Heartbeat
- Years Together
After completing all three of these side quests, Agil will finally become available to recruit, allowing the Protagonist to bring him into the party as a full companion from that point onward.
Role and Kits
Agil's role within the party will most likely be Tank, positioning him as the party's frontline anchor who can absorb enemy attacks and hold the line while the rest of the group focuses on dealing damage or providing support.
Agil's combination skill Crowd Strike deals moderate damage to enemies around him, with the damage increasing based on how many enemies are caught within range.
Agil's support skill is Taunt forces nearby enemies to target Agil, and upon activation, keeps his Focus Gauge fully charged for a set period of time.
Agil's kit makes him ideal for a Protagonist building a party centered on crowd control and stability. His aggro-drawing Taunt, guaranteed Focus Gauge uptime, and AoE punish damage let the party fight through enemy-dense encounters without sacrificing safety or positioning.
