Who are the Playable Characters in Echoes of Aincrad?
Players directly control only the Protagonist, but the game's Partner System lets you bring allies into the fight.
Before each quest, you'll choose 1 to 3 partner characters to fight alongside you. You can swap their weapons and skills anytime from your room at any town's Inn.
You can also direct how your partner supports you, whether that's focusing fire on a single enemy to take them down fast or drawing attention away from you.
