How to Beat Flowering Nepenthes Guide
[1] Weed Out the Competition First.
You will have to clear out several smaller Nepenthes before Flowering Nepenthes comes out. Eliminate the mobs to prevent them from becoming a distraction once the boss joins the battle.
[2] A Bloom that Puts You to Sleep.
Avoid the Flowering Nepenthes' pink breath, as it can render you helpless once the status meter fills. Keeping a Cleansing Crystal on hand is useful for situations like these. Don't forget that healing Combination Skills, such as Iori's Twin Embrace, can still be activated even while immobilized.
[3] Mind the Vines and the Bloom.
The Flowering Nepenthes reels back for a moment before rapidly extending its vines to strike the player. Use your shield to block and avoid taking damage.
It generates numerous yellow spore clouds that rain down on the battlefield. Thankfully, they are all bark and don't apply any status effect. Simply dodge the marked areas on the ground to avoid any damage.
