How to Beat Dire Strife Wolf Guide
The boss sits near the entrance of the Teardrop Cave, during The Violet Fencer I quest. Upon entering the area, it howls then proceeds to launch an assault.
[1] Zip zap! The wolf's high-voltage moves will send you into a coma.
Most of the Dire Strife Wolf's attacks are imbued with electricity, capable of inflicting Paralysis. Once the debuff meter accumulates enough, the target become immobilized and completely vulnerable. Be cautious as this can quickly end the fight.

| Electric Spin |  It pauses before spinning violently. Time your roll or run back to evade the attack. |
| Volt Lunge |   The wolf's lunge attack can be interrupted with a Reversal Slash. |
| Lightning Charge |  The boss rushes its target at incredible speed. The attack has a similar windup to Volt Lunge, so quickly strafe or roll sideways to avoid being electrocuted. |
| Energized Chomp |  It quickly closes the gap with two leaps before tearing through the target. This attack is blockable but timing the guard can be a bit tricky. |
| Tail Slam |  The wolf backflips while swinging its tail forward before dive bombing the nearby area with a stunning Aoe attack. The move is unblockable and catching the tail will immediately cause paralysis. Since the attack tracks its target, wait for the brief pause before dodging. |

These special moves grant valuable invisibility frames, making them extremely useful in tight situations. You can even activate Iori's Combination Skill: Twin Embrace while paralyzed to avoid fatal hits.
