Nobunaga's Blade Walkthrough - Nioh 3

Oda Nobunaga was a hero of the Warring States period who fell at Honnoji Temple. It appears the head priest hid Nobunaga's favored sword someplace.

Note: This is only available after finishing the Main Mission, Accursed Temple.

[1] Choose the Nobunaga's Blade Battle Scroll at a shrine/Bodhisattva statue.

You will arrive at an area similar to Saijo.

[2] Follow the Kappa.

Go forward past the shrine. You will see a Kappa head to the east, follow it.

Follow the path to the right after going through the gate. Be wary of soldiers and yokai alike.

Defeat the enemies in the area and go towards the right-hand path.

Keep following the Kappa!

Take the path to the right. The Kappa will appear again. Follow it to the eastern exit.

Go past the shrine and follow the Kappa to lower ground.

Defeat the yokai. There will be two waves.

Defeat the Red Kappa! Here are some tips in fighting it!
・The Kappa will mostly attack from afar. It moves slowly so the projectiles are easy to avoid
・Get in close and hit hard!
・Watch out because its spinning shell attack where it moves fast activates when it gets enough damage from up close
・You can switch to Ninja Style to avoid the attacks then go back in with Samurai Style to deal greater damage
