Well, Well, Well Walkthrough - Nioh 3

I found a dead man lying on the road just past Honnoji Temple. He had the look of a former warrior, and wanted to meet his former lover, Kiyo. He said Kiyo would still be waiting on him near a well. I'll have to find a well that matches the man's description.

[1] Speak with the dead man in Sanjo.

He tells you that he's looking for Kiyo, a woman he meets near a well where nobody can see them. He believes that she will be waiting for him near a well, and so he asks you to search for the well he described.

[2] Hit the well in Shirakawa

Hitting the well will drop an item.

[3] Hit the well in Nijo Castle

Hit the well, then loot the body next to it. This will spawn an enemy who is looking for plates.

[3] Defeat the enemy.

When you start hearing someone counting for plates, that's her (could this be referring to Okiku from the folk tale, Banchō Sarayashiki?). Be ready. Here are a couple of her moves to watch out for:

Move	Showcase	Details
Spin Attack		She's quick to execute the spin of her weapon. Dodge away from it.
Wave		She starts glowing red as she attacks you with a wave. It only moves forward, so dodge to the side.
Projectiles		She also has a long-range attack. She can shoot projectiles that will follow you. Make sure to keep moving to the side.

After defeating the enemy, the man tells you that she might be in Higashiyama or some place else.

[4] Head to the well in Higashiyama.

Hit the well again for the loot. The man tells you that it seems like Kiyo isn't there. But still, he feels something strange.

[5] Search for Kiyo.

Near the well, you hear the dead man's father, who seems to be talking to Kiyo.

After this, an enemy will spawn.

[6] Defeat Kyokotsu.

Kyokotsu moves so fast I can't even capture a proper image of her. I did, however, manage to capture some of her moves to watch out for:

Move	Showcase	Details
Blink		Kiyo can disappear and reappear in a blink. Even if you run, she can easily catch up.
Double Slash		What seems to be her favorite move, slashes. She does it often and fast.
Charged Attack		Kiyo can also charge her attack so you better be careful for a big slash.
Slash and Slam		Kiyo can also slash horizontally then slam her weapon vertically.

After defeating Kiyo, the man seems to finally be at peace.
