Final Hope Quest Summary
Period: Bakumatsu - 1864 CE
After purifying the Honnoji Crucible, I was reunited with Himiko, who is known as Oryo in this time. It appears Kunimatsu’s forces are now attempting to destroy the Spirit Tree that protects Kyoto. I should head for the Imperial Palace and defend the Spirit Tree.
Final Hope Walkthrough
[1] Head to the Imperial Palace.
Once you have spoken with Shinsaku and O-Ryo (Himiko) during "Accursed Temple", this Mission will be unlocked.
The Kyoto Imperial Palace is your next destination. Spend some time exploring the surrounding regions to gear up! It's recommended to level up before heading to this objective.
A friendly tip: Hunt the Shinsengumi first! Finish the "Peerless Katana" and "Solitary Blade" Side Quests. This will give you an advantage in the upcoming boss fight later on.
[2] Complete Scion of the Gods.
When you're ready, head to the entrance of the Imperial Palace's Crucible. Entering this area will start the next Mission.
[3] Head to the Spirit Tree.
After defeating Tokugawa Yoshinobu, the three of you will reunite and make plans to head toward the Spirit Tree.
End this Quest by opening the gate. After the cutscene, you will unlock the next Mission, "What Makes A Shogun".
