Vengeful Blade Walkthrough - Nioh 3

In Futamata, I heard talk of a grudge harbored toward Muramasa. Muramasa is a swordsmith without equal, and it is rumored that his blades will antagonize the Tokugawa clan. But why would anyone harbor a grudge against Muramasa? I'd best investigate.

Note: This is only available after defeating Baba Nobuharu.

[1] Select the Vengeful Blade Battle Scroll at the shrine/Bodhisattva statue.

You will arrive at an area similar to Futamata Castle.

[2] Go down to the large pool of blood.

The path is mostly easy to follow with other possible paths blocked off. In the first fork of the road, turn right and go straight ahead.

Continue down the path and you will arrive at the large pool of blood. Search through the departed soul at the middle of it.

[3] Defeat Ippon-Datara.

Here are some tips for fighting this yokai!
・The yokai will bounce on its sword in your direction
・It doesn't move so quickly that an attack-and-flee strategy will work just fine
・It is more susceptible to Water-based attacks
