Beast of the Underworld Quest Summary
A great depression has formed in the ground of the city, and at the very bottom sits a swirl of flames.
A foreign weapon merchant by the name of Thomas Glover informed me that a warehouse for weapons lies ahead, but the way is blocked by yokai.
Note: This is available after reaching level 3 in the map of Shichijo.
Beast of the Underworld Walkthrough
[1] Traverse through this spirit vein down to the Shichijo Abyss.
[2] Find the armory.
If you want to see what collectibles are available in this Sub-Mission, refer to the table at the end of this step.
Move forward and you will find the shrine. Do not bother with the gate beside it as it cannot be opened yet. Continue on the left path.
You will meet a man called Thomas Glover. Talk to him. He says he will pay you back if you get rid of the yokai in his warehouse. For now, you can use cannons in the area freely.
Use the cannon to clear up the path. When you see the surrounding buildings, enter the building to the left and continue there to get to the second floor of the houses to keep moving forward. You won't be able to jump on the roofs of the other buildings.
After getting rid of some soldiers, descend down the right-hand path. Be careful of falling into the holes in the roof. But even if you do, there will be ways to go up again, so don't worry about missing anything.
After descending down the roofs, go down the left-hand path.
Reaching the lower ground without taking a hit might be difficult but observe the slopes so that the descent won't lose you any HP. After getting down, go straight forward and go up the stairs.
Before going through the gates, climb up to the cannon and blast off the crystals blocking the path that leads back to the entrance (it leads to the gate near the shrine from earlier). Yokai will come right away to fight you as soon as the crystals are destroyed so watch out!
Go inside the second house and go down the cliff at its end. There will be a lot of spirit veins to go through until you finally reach the bottom of the area.
Defeat the yokai in the area and go through the burning building.
Go past the shrine and go down the path to the left.
Go straight on the path and defeat the Crucible Wraith.
Stay on the path. When you see the slope on the right, take the turn towards the shrine. Prepare yourself for the boss fight and enter the warehouse!

[3] Defeat Kasha.
Here are some tips in going against Kasha:
・Definitely do not use any Fire-based magic or Ninjutsu or skill
・Stay close to her to attack. Attacking with strong attacks in Samurai Style is recommended
・If you're consistent, you can easily get her Ki to 0
・You can usually parry or dodge any attacks with her whips but if you just stay right in front of her, most of those attacks miss
・Take Fire-resistant gear

・You will now be able to use any cannon anywhere!
