Period: Heian - 1190 CE

The Age of Clans Begins Walkthrough
[1] Continue along through the Mountains.
After The Battle of Saigagake, you will start in a snowy mountain area in 1190 CE (Heian Era).
Continue up the path and pass through the gate.
Follow the path down Mount Kurama. Once you approach the Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine, the quest "Sacred Mountain Defiled" will automatically trigger.
[2] Speak with Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
Upon completion of Sacred Mountain Defiled, talk to Minamoto no Yoshitsune. He will share what he knows as you make your way to Kyoto.
Once you confirm the prompt, a cutscene will play where Minamoto no Yoshitsune explains his story and the current state of Kyoto.
According to him, the Great Tengu is actually a high priest turned Aratama. What's worse, Yoshitsune’s brother, Yoritomo, is now accompanied by a Dark Guardian Spirit.
As the cutscene ends, this Mission will be officially marked as completed.
