The Battle of Mikatagahara - Part 2 Quest Summary
Period: Warring States - 1572 CE
On a hellish battlefield, I managed to defeat Shingen and rescue Grandfather.
Shingen has retreated from Mikatagahara, but the Tokugawa forces have been decimated, and Takeda's army still retain its strength. We must quickly return to Hamamatsu and prepare.
The Battle of Mikatagahara - Part 2 Walkthrough
[1] Speak with Ii Naotora.
After purifying the Crucible during "A Fiery Invasion - Part 2", you’ll trigger a cutscene with your Grandfather.
In a moment of intense emotion, Ieyasu explains how the weight of this defeat will stay with him forever.
Narikama Tanuki will be able to accompany you via Spirit Division afterward!
You will also unlock a new entry in the Amrita Memories:

| Guardian Spirit Skill Burst Break | Repel enemy Burst Attacks with Guardian Spirit Skills! Burst Break (Spirit): Land a Guardian Spirit Skill while an enemy is using a Burst Attack. Similar to a Style Shift Burst Break, repelling the enemy will interrupt their attack, dealing damage to both Life and Ki while reducing their maximum Ki. |
Once the cutscene is over, you'll see Ii Naotora nearby.
Talk to her, and she’ll explain that it is time to regroup at the castle.
[2] Return to Hamamatsu Castle and speak with Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Fast travel to the Hamamatsu Castle Keep and look for Ieyasu on the upper floor.
Speak with him, and you'll learn that Takeda’s forces are already moving north. To claim victory, you must target Shingen himself. This will unlock "The Battle of Saigagake".
