True Samurai of Kamakura Walkthrough - Nioh 3

Yoritomo's soldiers seem to wish to atone for their past actions and are attempting to drive away the yokai. I should investigate.

Note: This is only available after Main Mission, Frozen City, Blazing Tree is finished.

[1] Talk to Shizuka Gozen.

Minamoto no Yoritomo no longer has power to use the Spirit Stones. Instead of using them, he uses his forces to clean up the yokai.

[2] Head to Matsuo-taisha Shrine.

Travel to the Matsuo-taisha: Monastic Cave shrine.

Head to where the barrier is and talk to the spirit there. The spirit is concerned about their captain and if they made it to the shrine safely,

[3] Look for the leader of the warriors.

Head to the outside yard of the shrine. You will find Kajiwara Kagetoki fighting against yokai. Help him.

Speak to Kajiwara Kagetoki. He asks for your help in exterminating the yokai.

[4] Find the yokai's master and defeat them.

Go into the icy cave

Defeat the Waira.
・The Waira can move quickly but you will be able to do a lot of solid hits while the aggro is on Kajiwara
・Using Living Artifact can make quick work of this yokai, but we recommend waiting on its use...

[5] Escort Kajiwara to his men.

Head back to the shrine barrier. After the short chat, talk to Kajiwara.

[6] Fight Kajiwara Kagetoki and defeat him.

・Don't forget he can summon yokai
・Be patient! Kajiwara has high defense so you have to chip down his health bit by bit
・Watch out when he charges at you so that you can Burst Break

After the battle, talk to him to end the quest.
