Where to Find Solnir, the Gloom Seeker
Teleport to the Citadel Annex Beacon located in the Faded Citadel.
Head to the stairs on the right and follow the path.
Go past the enemies and continue up another set of stairs.
The boss room is located on the right.
Solnir, the Gloom Seeker Attack Patterns

| Cross Slash |  The seeker crosses both swords inward before swinging outward in a wide arc. This is their most predictable attack and can be exploited for Break Damage. |
| 4-Hit Combo |  Solnir leaps in the air before performing a six attacks in a row. |
| 6-Hit Combo |  Solnir executes six attacks in a row. |
| Blink & Spin |  The boss rushes forward and slashes twice before performing a multi-spin combo. The strikes can be exploited for a quick Riposte if guarded correctly. |
| Counter |  Solnir enters a counter stance and retaliates with blinding speed when attacked. They are also invulnerable to projectiles while in this position. |
How to Beat Solnir, the Gloom Seeker
[1] Destroy the two altars to dispel its invulnerability.
Solnir is invincible for the entire duration of the fight, unless the two altars in the room are broken. The player can opt to shoot and break the altars from outside the arena.
[2] Equip Bloodseed to reduce and counter its Bloodcurse-infused attacks.
Its attacks inflict Bloodcurse, dealing burst damage on the player when enough stacks are applied. Using the item Bloodseed mitigates or cures the status ailment, making it particularly effective during the fight.
[3] Refrain from attacking whenever it goes into its Counter stance.
Aside from evading sidearm projectiles, Solnir can also to parry the player's attacks while in this pose. This posture has a slightly similar form to the one used for Blink Strike. Avoid attacking the boss when it poses as any melee attack will be met with a swift counter that deals massive damage.
[4] Use an item or skill that can stagger or restricts its mobility.
The boss is fast and can overwhelm the player when cornered. Applying Stasis with Torpor Stone can slow down its movements, making it easier to read its attacks. Alternatively, Voltaic Crown or Biosampler can build Lightning stacks to inflict Shock and interrupt the boss.
