NPCs can be found throughout the map. They may ask you for help and if you do, you might get rewarded in return.
Where to find Gorf
Gorf can be found in Widow's Outlook coughing hoarsely.

[1] Give a Weltcap to Gorf
He asks you if you have any Weltcap mushrooms to help with his ailment. Should you help Gorf, he will reward you with a Marsh Pearl. This item can be traded for 2000 coins
[2] Revisit Gorf and give another Weltcap
Go back to Gorf. He seems to still be struggling with his illness. Give him another Weltcap to ease the pain. He will give you another Marsh Pearl for your troubles.
[3] Keep Visiting Gorf
Visit Gorf again and this time he laments that he has lost his purpose to sing. He tells you that he needs a mate. Be a pal and give him some Common Moonshine. Afterwards, he gives you yet another Marsh Pearl!
[4] Loot the Corpses Around Gorf
It seems that Gorf's singing brought in the wrong crowd. As a result, Gorf had to kill them. Gorf tells you that he might as well give up singing since no mate will come. Give him some moonshine to help and in return another Marsh Pearl. You can also loot the corpses for Gloom.
[5] Obtain the Poisoned Dagger
By the time you come back, Gorf is in a terrible condition. A poisoned dagger is lodged in him and it is only a matter of time before he dies...unless you know someone who could concoct a cure.
[6] Give Hilga the Poisoned Dagger
For this part of the quest, you need to advance through Hilga's questline.
[7] Give Gorf Common Moonshine
Head back to Widow's Outlook where you'll see Hilga and Gorf together. Hilga wants you to help in his recovery by giving him Moonshine.
[8] Revisit Gorf and Watch His Recovery
Make your way back to Gorf and you could see him recovering happily and is grateful to you and Hilga. He gives you another Marsh Pearl as gratitude.
[9] Visit Gorf Again
Head back after resting to see another frog beside Gorf. This frog is actually Hilga who has let go of her human desires and transformed into a frog.
[10] Visit Gorf for the Last Time
Make one last visit and you'll see that Hilga and Gorf got busy. Baby frogs can be seen outside the clearing. What's more is that if you have the Troubadour's Lute equipped, you can play a song for them.
Thus ends the quest.
