Hexapod Summary
The Hexapod seems to be of otherworldly origin, which makes it all the more dangerous. Six segmented limbs coil around its body, forming a grotesque shell of hardened flesh. Vanquish the eldritch being to obtain the Hexapod Core, cleanse the corrupted gate, and recover the stolen Ova.

Where to Find Hexapod
Teleport to the Nameless Pass Beacon located in the Withered Shoals.
Follow the path next to the beacon.
Jump off the cliff to enter the Hexapod's Burrow.
Hexapod Attack Patterns
The table below lists the attack details of Hexapod in each phase.

| Tendril Stab |  A single appendage forcefully stabs the player. This can be blocked or parried. |
| Tendril Sweep |  Hexapod sweeps the area in front of it from either side once or twice. This has a brief delay so avoid guarding or parrying too early. |
| Outward Sweep |  The creature sweeps its tendrils outward from the center, obliterating anything in front of it. |
| Impaling Thrust |  It sequentially thrusts its six tendrils forward, impaling its target multiple times. This attack cannot be blocked or parried and must be avoided. |
| Triple Skewer |  Hexapod repeatedly stabs the ground ahead three times while moving forward. |
How to Beat Hexapod
[1] Take advantage of its slow and deliberate nature.
The boss' large size and slow movements make its attacks relatively straightforward to read. Its wide recovery windows also leave clear openings, so wait for it to strike before making a move. Counter its attacks with blocks or parries to set it up for a Riposte.
However, avoid blocking or dodging too early. A single attack can easily one-shot the player's Guard Meter, while mistiming a single dodge often results in a quick death. Make it slower and give yourself more time to avoid its attacks by applying Stasis with items such as Torpor Stone.
[2] Dodge sideways or strafe around its attacks to counter right away.
Dodging sideways against incoming attacks such as Outward Sweep, Impaling Thrust, and Triple Skewer keeps the player within range to launch an immediate counterattack.
[3] It is vulnerable while casting Abyssal Volley.
Hexapod quickly flees before charging this attack, leaving itself completely exposed. Chase it down immediately and use this opening to execute long combos or unload heavy strikes while it charges.
[4] Give Proxima her well-deserved hunt.
Proxima's kit excels during this fight, reflecting her design for hunting the creature down. Her Grafted Armor ability reduces the risk of being one-shotted, while her upgraded Biosampler deals decent damage and inflicts both Lightning and Stasis.
[5] Equip Martyr's Ash to mitigate or cure the Frost affliction from its projectiles.
Abyssal Volley inflicts a random debuff, one of which is Frost. Getting frozen mid-fight may cost the player their Shell or even their life, making Marytr's Ash a valuable solution to the attack.
