No Official Steam Deck Verification.
Games that have been Steam Deck verified will be placed in the "Great on Deck" category for Steam. You can also use a tool in Steam in order to check which games in your library are compatible with the Steam Deck.
As of today, August 17, 2026, Mortal Shell 2 has not been verified for the Steam Deck.
Unofficial Steam Deck Testing
Since it takes time to officially verify a game for Steam Deck compatibility, there is an open-source review platform called ProtonDB that players use in order to talk about how different games work on their Steam Deck.
According to the users, the open beta form of the game works on Steam Deck but there is some staggering and some glitches. As this is the beta form of the game, it is not indicative of how the full release will work. This will need to be tested over time.
