Where to Find Tishina's Confessor
Teleport to the Executioner's Pulpit Beacon located in the Prisoner's Domain.
The boss fight begins as soon as you jump across the building using the teleporter.
Tishina's Confessor Attack Patterns

| Leap |  The boss suddenly lunges at the player with their scythe. Block or dodge just before he lands to deal Break Damage. |
| Thrust & Chop |  Tishina's Confessor strikes the player with the bottom of his scythe before following up with a swift chop. The first strike has a deceptive animation that resembles a standard slash, so be ready to guard earlier than usual. |
| Whirling Strike |  The boss spins and slashes the player twice. Block or parry both attacks for Break Damage. |
| Four-Hit Scythe Slash |  He unleashes a scythe combo that ends with a powerful downward strike. The third strike can quickly close the gap even from a distance, so be ready to guard or parry as he approaches. |
| Four-Hit Spinning Combo |  He follows up with a fast spinning combo and ends with an overhead chop. The second spin can catch the player off guard as it strikes without delay, so be careful. |
How to Beat Tishina's Confessor
[1] Exploit his slow and predictable attacks for a quick Riposte.
Most of his attacks are quite slow and have predictable patterns, making them great opportunities to fill his Break Meter. Both four-hit combos are especially useful, as blocking every strike can instantly build the meter and set up a Riposte.
Don't forget to equip the Retribution Stone to even further your Riposte damage.
[2] Use Tiel's Shadow Strike to stack Poison and lose aggro.
A fully-upgraded Shadow Strike can apply 10 Poison stacks in one hit, while two critical strikes can potentially remove a quarter of the boss' HP. It can also break the boss' aggro, giving you time to recover or reposition.
[3] Use abilities or items that deal Lightning damage.
The boss appears to be vulnerable to Lightning-type attacks, making a skill such as Proxima's Biosampler or the item Tarstone: Voltaic Crown particularly effective in combat.
[4] Block instead of dodging its second scythe spin.
The second scythe spin is difficult to evade immediately after dodging the first, making it safer to guard against the attack instead. This also helps build the Break Meter while avoiding unnecessary damage.
If chaining blocks with Harden proves to be difficult, switch to Untarnished Seal for a more forgiving counter.
