Where to Find the Infested Miner
From the Gate of Mammon Beacon, enter the Burrowkin Dwelling. At the fork, turn left.

Proceed to descend until you come upon a wooden house. Go through the bridge and launch yourself up with the current.

Follow the path outside and keep going until you have to squeeze through a tight space in the cave. Near there will be the boss and its monsters.

How to Beat the Infested Miner
[1] Be careful of its companions.
The miner is accompanied by crab-like monsters that pounce readily at you when given the chance. While one doesn't cause much damage on its own, several trying to attack you will accumulate a sizable amount of damage.
[2] Beware the falling rocks.
The boss can summon rocks that can easily block your route dodging from either their incoming onslaught of strikes or the lunges of the crab monsters. Make sure to stay in the area with a wide space and not be cornered into the narrower ones.
[3] Use an appropriate Shell.
Some Shells like Proxima and Eredim have abilities that enable them to close the gap between themselves and the enemy with an attack. This helps as you might be running away a lot to avoid damage. It lets you get through to the boss without all the surrounding obstacles.
Other Shells like Sariel can unleash AoE attacks which can be advantageous in taking out the little terrors of the boss.
[4] Take advantage of Tarstones.
The following Tarstones help you deal damage from afar and are effective in this fight:
- Hand of Rock
- Blackblood Stone
- Barrage Stone
- Splitting Stone
