Is there a Demo?
Yes. On June 6, Playstack released an Open Beta of Mortal Shell 2 on Steam. The Open Beta provides you with 3 hours worth of game time allowing you to familiarize yourself with the game and its mechanics.
What to expect
The Open Beta gives you access to the Prologue and an early section of the game's open world. You will begin the game in Harbinger's Journey. Players will learn how to cleanse beacons, possess fallen Shells, explore dungeons, and take on mini-bosses.
Rewards & Bonuses
If you play the Open Beta, you will unlock The Flayed Harbinger, an exclusive cosmetic. What's more is that there is a carry-over of whatever progress you made in the Open Beta to the official game once it launches.
The player needs to reach beyond Marrow Keep to skip the Prologue on the full release.
