Merchants
Merchants in Mortal Shell 2 are specialized Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) that sell you items in exchange for coins.
These are what they might sell:
- Information of where weapons and side arms are located
- Rare items
- Tarstones
Where to find Franz
Franz is in Marrow Keep. He is in the room to the left of where the Feet Washer, Vratko, can be found.

Franz's Catalogue
Franz does not have a catalogue. Instead he will take items from you that help enable the Tarforge to improve your weapons.
You will need the Muradean Actuator to upgrade weapons while you need the Obsidian Lathe to upgrade sidearms.
After talking to Franz, go to the other end of the Tarforge and choose what you want to upgrade. You will need items, like Laterite and Ventrium, and the coinage in order to improve the items.
