Mushroom Village Summary

Mushroom Village Walkthrough

[1] Cleanse the Mushroom Village Beacon

Once you enter Mushroom Village, head further inward towards the Beacon. The beacon will challenge you to cleanse it. Accept it and you will enter a dungeon known as the Passenger's Shrine. Beat it to get an Ovum and Glimpse.

[2] Reach for the Mushroom Village Gate Beacon

The next beacon that you need to focus on is the Mushroom Village Gate Beacon. Go southeast of the Mushroom Village Beacon to some bridges that you need to cross.

[3] Cleanse the Hall of Illusions

The Hall of Illusions is the first legacy dungeon of the game. You will also encounter the big boss: Vrannic, the Grand Illusionist. Once Vrannic's dealt with, a gate will activate leading you to the next area: the Glutted Mire.

[4] Unlock Mether's Breath

Rest at the Beacon then make your way to Marrow Keep. Once inside, head to the Ova Nursery. Interact with the Gloom Siphon to unlock Mether's Breath.

Mether's Breath allows you to do two things:

1. Fast travel from one beacon to another
2. Cleanse corrupted pathways that block your path
