NPCs

NPCs can be found throughout the map. They may ask you for help and if you do, you might get rewarded in return.

Where to find Vlas

Vlas can be found at the Outskirts of Mammon, alongside a wrecked caravan.

Vlas Questline Walkthrough

[1] Speak with Vlas.

Vlas has been waylaid by ruffians, and while he's mostly fine, he can't find his cat. He's worried, and needs your help.

[2] Examine the Empty Cage.

Across of him is a pile of boxes. Check the empty cage found there to that his cat is not there. For your troubles, Vlas will give you a Coin of Mammon.

[3] Leave and Return to Vlas.

Go to the beacon and refresh there. Afterwards, when you return to Vlas, you'll see that he's ready to leave.

But if you leave and return again, you'll find this letter in the rocks where Vlas once was. It looks like he's been kidnapped!

[4] Search for Vlas

Travel to the Gate of Mammon to look for Vlas.

At the top of the Lone Spire, near the Brigand Merchant you'll find that Vlas has been imprisoned there.

Keep speaking to Vlas until he is convinced to try and escape, and you will then give him the Unremarkable Key. If you do not have it yet, you can find it a shack near the arched entrance of the Lone Spire.

You should buy what you need from the Brigand, especially a Glimpse, as after this he will no longer be available.

[5] Go to Marrow Keep

Once you have fast travelled to the Beacon of Marrow Keep, head out through the exit in front of you and find Vlas safe and sound. He'll give you another Coin of Mammon as thanks for rescuing him from the brigands.

Quest Rewards

Other than the two Coins of Mammon, there are no other rewards for this quest.
