Merchants
Merchants in Mortal Shell 2 are specialized Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) that sell you items in exchange for coins.
These are what they might sell:
- Information of where weapons and side arms are located
- Rare items
- Tarstones
Where to find Merrick
Merrick is the merchant found in Marrow Keep. Marrow Keep is accessible after obtaining an egg for the first time. After obtaining the egg, bring it to Marrow's Keep and talk to the Shellkeeper.

Merrick can be found in the room to the right of the Gloom Siphon inside of the Egg Room where the ova are kept.
First Encounter with Merrick
When you first meet Merrick, he will mark on your map the location of the sidearm, the Forbidden Crossbow. You will not be able to access his shop until you talk to someone else after this encounter.
