Kora is out to explore a new cave and invites the player to come with.

[1] After listening to Gaul and Murray during the Tracks Main Quest, talk to Kora at camp.

Kora says that she will go and explore a new cave she found. Rudy remarks it must be exciting and Kora invites both him and the player to come with her. She says she acquired some ore for preparation and Rudy is impressed she found an ore-rich cave in Azuria. Kora laughs it off, saying that geological surveys are her specialty after all.

[2] Go explore the cave.

Go south of Mirror Lake. Kora will tell the Rudy to be cautious since monsters may live in the cave.

Enter the cave. There are many rocks that block the way forward. Destroy them and receive some materials.

At the first fork in the road, take the left path first.

Destroy the wall with monster breath and take the chest inside. Proceed to the right path afterwards.

Immediately, there is another fork in the road. Take the left path.

The next path to take is the right one.

However, first, the vulnerable rock wall up above must be destroyed. Then, a monstie that can scale walls must be used to reach the opening. A cut scene will start and Kora will say that it is a good spot to rest.

The player mentions how dangerous these solo expeditions must be and Kora agrees. She talks about how she is at peace doing it alone because that means others will not be put into danger and reveals some of her origins.

She was an orphan from Vermeil who was adopted by a merchant and would grow up making money by finding ore. She came to Azuria as one of Lady Amara's attendants, who had taken Kora under her wing after meeting at a mining site. Kora then joined the rangers and met Lucas, Ogden's son, and married him. She had felt a sense of belonging then, but years later, her husband died to illness and Amara disappeared. Kora can't help but feel adrift nowadays.

Rudy disagrees with Amara's sentiment and is vehement about Kora's bond with the rangers. Kora thanks the both of them for their belief in her and they proceed to explore the rest of the cave.

Take the right path for the next fork in the road.

In the middle of the large area, destroy the rock wall above of the second path and climb up using a monstie.

At the end of the path, there will be a den to the right and a breakable large rock to the left. The rock hides a chest so destroy the rock to get the materials.

Go back to the large area. This time, destroy the rock wall of the first path and climb up there. Proceed forward.

The player will arrive at a small circular lake. The the first path to the left. There will be a Catavan Stand.

[3] Defeat the monster of the cave.

Get to the end of the path and attack the sleeping Gypceros in battle.

After defeating the monster, the team realizes that there is a large iron deposit where they are and celebrate their find. Kora thanks the two for helping her out.
