Cave Kids (Kora Ch. 3) Full Walkthrough and Details | Monster Hunter Stories 3 ( MHS3 )

A large reward was put up for being able to reach the most inner part of a brand new cave. Kora thinks the team should give it a try.

This is available after visiting the Ministry of Eggs and finishing Kora Ch. 2 Side Story.

[1] Talk to Kora at the base.

Kora proclaims that she has good news to share. The Egg Hunters found a new cave. They sent in 3 people to prospect the cave but none have returned. Now, they're offering a large reward to whomever can reach the most innerpart of the cave. Kora says that being rangers, they have the best chance of doing this, even if the player is reluctant of putting the themselves in harm's way for some zenny. Though, it does seem like Kora is more excited about what kind of geological formations could be in an unknown cave system but that is besides the point.

[2] Explore the cave system.

There is a full map of the cave here.

Go to Rococo Rocks and enter the cave. As usual, there are breakable rocks and walls in the cave that may get in the way!

At the fork, turn right first.

Collect the trasure chest, then head back to the fork and continue on the other path.

Go further in and there will a small child, begging for the team to save his older brother. A cave in happened and separated the two who were enticed to go into the cave because of the supposed large prize. The team promises the kid that they will look for his brother and that he can wait at the cave entrance for them.

It will be a while until the next fork in the road. Take the path on the left and destroy the wall.

At the end of the path, there is another treasure chest.

Return to the diverging paths and make a U-Turn. Destroy the crystal at the end of the path to release a wind current.

Use the Wind Current with a monstie that can Fly and has Breath to destroy the wall on the other side.

Keep on going on the path and there will be a Catavan stand.

As soon as the team gets to final area, a cut scene will play with a monster closing in on the older brother.

Battle the Shogun Ceanataur and win.

The older brother explains that they tried to explore the cave because it might make their lives easier if they obtained the zenny prize. Kora decides to give the prize money to the siblings, saying it's what Lady Amara would have done.
