Chapter Five: Lazlion

Vermeil intends to steal one of Aenshin’s eggs and battle-bind the hatchling to take back the Sacrosanctum. To stop this, the party sets out to do what Rangers do best—protect monster eggs.

After hearing from Ena that the survey team captain shares a strange connection with the Elder Dragon, they hurry into the deep reaches of the lair to find her.

[1] Conduct a Meeting at the Rangers' Base.

The Rangers return to their base in Azuria Castle to finalize the strategy for stopping Aenshin within Sacrosanctum. Their meeting is interrupted when Eleanor rushes toward them.

Eleanor shares the Vermeil plan she overheard earlier. Their forces intend to battle-bind one of Aenshin’s offspring and use its power.

Ena also arrived to confirm that there is indeed an Elder Dragon's Den near the Sacrosanctum. The Rangers must hurry back before the mistakes of 200 years ago repeat.

[2] Go to Sacrosanctum in Old Capital Lazlion, Serathis.

After arriving at the Sacrosanctum, the Rangers are greeted by PK. Corbin orders his trusted Palico to get the Rangers up to speed about his and the Survey Team Captain's discovery of the Elder Dragon's Den.

[3] Explore Aenshin's Den, Terra Nativitas.

Use the nearby Entrance in Sacrosanctum to reach Terra Nativitas.

Keep following the path until the team reaches the Terra Nativitas: Fissure area.

[4] Defeat Bound Azure Rathalos.

After picking up a piece of Amara's armor and investigating the nearby Egg Quartz, the Rangers are attacked by the Bound Azure Rathalos.

This creature can execute fiery abilities. Make sure that the team's fire resistance is increased for this battle.

As the Rangers inspect the defeated Bound Azure Rathalos, they believe it is a battle-bound monster that emerged from the Egg Quartz.

They continue to head deeper into the Terra Nativitas for the next Quest, "In Her Footsteps".
