A Sense of Belonging (Kora Ch. 4) Walkthrough
[1] Talk to Kora at the base.
The player asks Kora is she has any geological surveys today. She replies that she had already done one this morning, after all nothing like ore to start your day!
Thea comes running in, hurriedly telling them that Ogden fell down a crevice! The two of them had been observing monsters at the Glacial Caps when the ground beneath them caved in. Kora and the captain decide to go together to save him.
[2] Save Ogden.
Head to Serathis and go to the fissure site with flightless birds.
Head up north and enter the cave. Like all the other caves, it has breakable rocks and rock walls as obstacles.
The cave starts out straightforward with one path to follow. At the first fork, take the left path.
At the center of the large area, there is a large rock. Use a monstie with Melee Attack to destroy it to reveal the path underneath.
In the next fork, take the path on the right.
Stay on the path until the rock wall on the left is visible. Destroy the wall and ride up the wind current with a monstie that can Fly.
Fly to the north and stay on the path.
When the team arrives at a large hole, only fly downwards a bit and enter the path to the left. Worry not, there is a current from the bottom so dropping to the ground will not cause softlocking.
The path forward is a like an upwards spiral with a lot of flying and climbing up in the same area. Just follow the spiral until the top where there is a pile of rocks that blocks the path forward. Get rid of it either through Breath or Melee Attack.
Enter the hole to the path underneath. Kora makes the team stop as she feels wind, concluding that they must be near the fissure. Rudy shouts into the cave and...Ogden responds! They tell him to sit tight and wait for them when...a monster appears!
In the same area is a Catavan Stand. Save the game and prepare for the upcoming battle.
[3] Slay the monster.
It's Ogden! And a Diablos! Protect him and finish the monster off!
Ogden doesn't respond when the team gets to him. Kora starts to cry, saying that everyone precious to her keeps leaving no matter what she does. She starts to blame herself, that she didn't hold on to them tightly enough.
Ogden lives! And he's calling on Kora's claims as poppycock. Lucas dying is part of life and it's not Kora's fault at all. She brought him so much happiness that he could even shave off some extra on top (oh Ogden...not beating the deadbeat father allegations...). Seems like he had pretended to be dead in order to survive the monster encounter but because he kept it up for so long, everyone is understandably mad at him.
Ogden announces that against Kora's own beliefs, she belongs with the rangers and they want her there with them. Thea's voice can then be heard from the crack. She brought the other two with her to help out just in case. They're all quite happy with the outcome, but Kora has one request - to punch Ogden in the face! (LOL)
